VPA Contest announced and NJ IDAL Chapter is Up and Running

IDAL Meeting in Central Pennsylvania:
This Wednesday, March 9th at 6:30 PM in Schaefferstown, PA the Distalfink Chapter of IDAL will be hosting a membership drive and I will be conducting a Faux Impressions, hands-on session.

VPA
This is the first annual VPA challenge! The VPA's will be an annual award that will recognize outstanding concepts and execution in Interior Design,Decorative Finishing and Residential/Commercial Painting. The winning entry will be decided by the attendees to the event. There will be 1 vote per attendee and the winner will be decided by the most votes. The event will be held in conjunction with the Sherwin Williams "Color the City Paint and Design Show". All participants must be present to win.

Participants must reside or do business within the tri-state region.

The Winners of the VPA's will win a beautiful VPA Challenge Award as well as an engraved Apple iPad.To enter all prospective contestants must meet the criteria set for the individual catagory.See requirements below. You may only have 1 entry in the catagory of your choice.

Interior Designers:
1.Submit 1 8x10 before and 1 8x10 after photo of project.
2.Submit 1 design board with name attached.
3.Provide Place and Date of project.
4.Provide receipts from Sherwin Williams for all paint and wallcoverings purchased for project. Only Sherwin Williams paint and wall coverings products can be used in the completion of the project. If there are any questionable entries it is up to the discretion of event organizers to either accept or reject entry.
5.Include a letter of intent with business name,individual designers,products and color palette used on project.

Decorative Artists:
1.Submit 1 8x10 before and 1 8x10 after photo of project.
2.Submit 1 12x12 sample board for each finish with name attached
3.Provide Place and Date of project.
4.Provide receipts from Sherwin Williams for all Decorative Paint. All products used must be exclusivley from Sherwin Williams Faux Impressions Line.If there are any questionable entries it is up to the discretion of event organizers to either accept or reject entry.
5.Include a letter of intent with business name,individual artists,products and color palette used on project.

Painting Catagory:
1.Submit 1 8x10 before and 1 8x10 after photo of project.
2.Submit 1 design board with name attached
3.Provide Place and Date of project.
4.Provide receipts from Sherwin Williams for all paint and primers purchased for project. Only Sherwin Williams paint and primersproducts can be used in the completion of the project. If there are any questionable entries it is up to the discretion of event organizers to either accept or reject entry.
5.Include a letter of intent with business name,individual contractors,products and color palette used on project.

Paramus, New Jersey IDAL Inaugural Meeting
The last Thursday in February and the last Thursday of most months in the future, the PARTY is happening at the the Sherwin-Williams Store on Rt 17 N in Paramus New Jersey!!!
