I have not forgotten about the Modello video tour.  Working on it... I will keep you posted.

Faux Impressions Metallics:
For now, I needed to include a quick video of proper installation of
SW, Faux Impressions Metallics.

"Go Heavy or Go Home!
Please random roll with a 9/16" microfiber roller or 3/4" Colossus roller sleeve, backrolling in random curving "X's" with a fully saturated roller. (Not the 5/16", too thin) Mop it on, random roll and backroll and let then it level and flow. For corners use a 1/2" x 6" microfiber, mini roller sleeve.

The color and opacity is driven by the paint color beneath, so be certain to have full coverage of your paint basecoat before applying the metallic topcoat.

1 coat will provide a beautiful slightly transparent, nearly sprayed appearance with roller application.

A second coat of metallic will provide full opacity, enhanced shimmer and a completely sprayed appearance with roller application.

See "1- handed" home made video below: (camera in left hand, roller in right)

Bing, SW Store Employee Artist:
Check out the video with an employee, artist Bing, in a  Sherwin-Williams, Commercial Store location in San Francisco:

More from this creative artist and sought after color matcher, including this diversity mural.

Exterior Mural that is a "work in progress" and has held up in the exterior elements in San Francisco since the year 2000, thanks to SherClear 1K clear coat!

Seattle Showroom and Baltimore IDAL

L C Jergens, "Quality is Never and Accident."

While in Seattle doing hands-on sessions and meeting with some seriously talented professionals, i had the luxurious experience of visiting one of the finest Paint/Faux Finish studios in the country at L C Jergens.

(I was greeted with the art below in the foyer)

It just kept getting better...  Climbing the stairs to the 2nd floor main showroom and my eyes and mind were treated to a large quantity of some of the most impressive designs that I have ever seen.  Tim Jergens and his extraordinary company are the elite of the eilte!

Tim below

The Whole Enchilada...

There are dozens of finished cabinets around the corner and
100's of samples in portfolio books!!! (Reminds me of NYC and Evergreene)

Below see photo of one of their MASSIVE, "wallsize" portfolio samples

Clearly, I had nothing to teach the experienced staff at L C Jergens.

I shared some of the installation nuances and advantages of our products and can't wait to see what they come up with using our Venetian Plaster, Metallics and Metallic Plasters!

Coast to Coast:
I was flying around avoiding the snow the last couple of weeks ending up in San Francisco, Seattle, Baltimore and San Diego.

(My family is still speaking to me, even though I missed 30" in 24 hours!>?:"!)
Baltimore IDAL:
Last week, I was treated to some quality time with an amazingly talented IDAL chapter in Baltimore headed up by Rita Melnick.
